Domestic Deliberations
2. I suppose it's a long running tradition in academia to over intellectualize that which appears to be connected through a linear logic system. If it didn't then, there would be fewer grants to compete for or awarded for that matter.
3. Old folks say when your ears get hot, someone is talking about you. Still trying to figure out if what their says is good or bad, but since those are both relative I'll leave it unknown.
4. What is it about this American College System that can take the joy from studying anything? Perhaps, I'll have better results if I scrutinize my own approach.
5. Good guys don't finish last more likely than not, they throw their hands in the air in frustration only to have them land on a woman who isn't deserving of what they have to offer. This isn't usually acknowledge by friends & associates until they've been married for some time.
6. I'm planning to see Chris Rock's Good Hair Documentary. It's exciting to see a stand up comedian take an explorative approach to making me laugh. The nature of black women & their relationship with their hair is soo absurd & disappointing that only laughter will allow you to look at it with a clear head.
7. There's a point in life when birthdays cease to be exciting. Don't be shocked when you cross that threshold, just look at all the money you'll save by not celebrating.
8. I don't believe in politicians & their campaign miracles but Pres. Obama's first 6 months are forcing to wonder if I really picked the lesser of 2 evils. I suppose the word realistic needs to be incorporated into the guidelines for pre-election discussion.
9. Be mindful of the expiration date on the milk, but don't take it as fact. I had a glass that was 3 days past date & it was just as fresh as it was the day it came home.
10. It's ultimately you're fault anyways, so buy Brawny paper towels. Cleaning up is so much easier with quality paper towels.
11. Let's see if I can put out the fire while swimming in the soup pot...
