Texts abound & yet learning is at a standstill
1. I woke up the other morning with a whirlwind of ideas passing through my mind as I reached for my glass of water. It was far too early to call anyone, so I spent part of my morning ritual talking to Chewy. Mind you, he only looked attentive in the moment I mentioned food.
2. Less than 30 days away from my least favorite holiday and I'm dreading it already.
I can't stand shopping for anything during this stretch because those crappy decorations abound.
3. Even though it's a huge investment that constantly needs more funding, I'm quite excited to hear my friends talk of buying a house soon.
4. There are times when the use of "tact" greatly undermines the urgency & the essence of the message. Ahhh, the things we do out of concern for our fellow (wo)man.
5. It's been requested that I restructure the blog. In particular, that I post more critically engaging essays about current events. I'm reviewing the idea and have considered even starting a 2nd blog for said purposes. I'll make an announcement either way in the near future.
6. Do we really need to get together or is that just the polite thing to say? Companionship trumps comradere for the record.
7. The bet remains active but I don't think it matters any more. Let's call the whole thing off.
8. I didn't speak on the matter because the days of you needing me to have long passed. Yes, I'm assessing your needs.
9. I tasted Potcheen for the first time last weekend. While I don't condone the use of the term never, I can't possibly envision one good decision following the consumption of any significant quantity of this Irish Moonshine. The flat bottom of a shot glass hosted the 2cm layer known here as a taste.
10. Your only demand is that my potential was not neglected. I'm working on it.
