Excuse me Senor, it is soo dry here!

1. The older I get, I more I understand how people develop an absolute hatred & distolerance for organized religion. 2. Finally gave in & bought some Tom's last week. They're comfortable, any one whose worn canvas sneaker can attest. They are also much less than practical for the demands of my schedule would allow. 3. Consistent clear communication would change the world. 4. There was a quote by Thomas Strohm(?) that I admired for years "I have earned my pain but I do not deserve my tears". My ignorance of the original context accounted for, I've lost admiration for it. I suspect 5. Just cause you can't understand him, it don't mean that he's nice. It just means that you can't all the bullshit that he writes - S. Carter on Nas. It also applies to 1 in 7 books published recently. 6. Respect the moment, for it alone holds truth. While those elements of truth may apply to later moments, they should not be understood as absolute truths th...

Dishes from feasting on food for thought

1. The exterminator is a chill as dude, when he ain't spray poison all over the place. 2. Jose Torres-Tama performance was amazing. It was assertive, aggressive, compassionate, & at some points comedic. It's amazing how the phrase "Illegal Immigrant" only focuses on group of such people. 3. I respect the notion of a uniform, it makes things a tad simpler in the morning. However, it's remarkably disappointing to see throngs of adult men bound to the blue shirt/blue jeans, blue or white shirt/khakis, & the polo shirt/khakis combo. Sadly enough, these men genuinely don't see a thing wrong with such subversive conformity. 4. Where are the moderately attractive women hiding? There's appears to be an abundance of the respective extremes, but shortage of middle ground. It's like having your mouth set on a sandwich but you walk into a bakery, not a deli. Being a resident of said middle ground, I'm sure I didn't move into a foreclosed subdi...

2+hr layover = Meet me @ the bar!

1. Pulled a Larry Byrd without a foul rose up snatched my Guinness off the ground & hit him with a pound and told homie hold it down - AZ 2. I respect the distance for it preserves the integrity of the moment, it aims to allow nothing to interrupt the truth. I miss you though & there's no substitute for that. So instead I tread forward facing the pass, sights locked on the difference as the whole system becomes a clear image. 3. Mary came by today & she sat with Moms for hours. They talked around each other like three decades hadn't pass that they were friends throughout. She filled the cracks in her voice when I asked how was everything & I pretend I couldn't hear the putty. 4. Modern man needs the wilderness, he needs to know that he can throw all of his might at nature & it not even ripple past where stands without him harnessing fire. He needs to exert his strength so he can discover his limits & view the blessing that is a boundary. 5. The r...

Give'em Guinness til they finished

1.The Cougars are prowling across the city now. Guess I need to ignore my demographic & see what's good with these wild cats. 2. Aye na baybae, whasshampn witcha? 3. Finally made it to the Orange Couch for coffee courtesy of a series of road blocks. It's cool, like chic cool. I'm feeling it though, it's chill. I suspect this how the Village felt during it's hey day. 3a. In light of said visit, I need to rewrite my business plan. 4. Theres a remarkable calm about Sunday morning when it doesn't involve going to church or work. 5. By having less, you have more freedom. 6. Don't expect anything less than the most, even if it appears that the least is all you'll acquire. 7. Much love to bad decisions!! 8. On the humble, I'm a boost your social life. No, I'm not a "Big Deal", more of a Developing Asset. 9. My mans is pregnant with twins, well, he & his wife are expecting twins. He crossed my mind this morn...
