1. Only in the eutopia of one's perspective uninterrupted could the status of "Untouchable" occur. Consequences follow actions, time's delay is an oven for anxiety. 2. If ya man's can't be held accountable because of phantom discomfort(s), you need new friends. If  said phantoms rest with you, ya need to put on an iron shirt & chase S(h)atan out of Earth. Make sure you swallow your ego first, least the shirt won't fit. 3. (Brethern) If you've got issues w/ ya moms, sister(s), grandmother, whichever woman raised you, then avoid women outside of professional contexts til you get that sorted out w/ professional help. 4. Roads in Louisiana historically supported an agricultural based economy. Generations of indigenous inhabitants learned this imposed system (roads are an infrastructural remnant of colonialism), by modifying (albeit slightly) behavioral patterns. 1. An exacting policy interpretation that ignores contextual data, enforced by a familiar face at the expense of those who's primary function is to learn more about the world in which they live. Na, we haven't heard this before. 2. Support the Nipsey Hustle in your contacts. 4. Ain't nothing like calling the butcher for home delivery while cooking dinner in the afternoon. Nothing. Need that again. 3. If the nation is a nation of laws and said laws are filled w/ language that negates the personhood & humanity of certain people, then you should understand the nation through it's laws first. Not through it's rhetoric. 5. The original Birth of a Nation inspired the 2nd Klan of the KKK, which held the largest (documented) membership in it's organizational history. 6. An opinion can be respected & valued and simultaneously not be taken into consideration in the action sequence it references.

1. I've had an evening saved by an ATLien, it's quite sedative for frazzled nerves. 2.  It's an amazing how much we care for children who are the offsprings of documented Americans. My deepest condolences to the families of the CT school shooting. It's unfortunate national media doesn't view all children the same, as there is no mention of the latest drone attack victims, mainly women & children. 3.  I played a game of chicken one evening, past dusk when fall was making mention of its arrival. 4. 1.  Attended a graduate level conference on OCD & got a first hand look at current research being conducted to further understand this disease in its entirety. It's interesting to see what's being discovered however that lack of significant minority population sampling leaves a much to be desired. The clinicians and researchers actively involved in this field need to grasp the urgency of providing further literature that speaks to how how this disease system manifest in non white male populations. 2.  It's disgusting to hear people reference the dead in the hopes of advancing their own agenda. The closer the speaker to the deceased, the sharper the blade used to sever ties.  3.  Riding through Chattanooga, TN appreciating the view of the Cumberland Mountains. 1. This has been the coldest spring I can recall in NOLA. It's as if the weather patterns that define the Atlantic seaboard were sent to the Deep South as an expression of Yankee rage over the years of stalled social progress. Thats not the case at all though, global warming is real and it's dressing the familiar in unfamiliar garments. 2.  Always be thankful for good friends. A recent holiday is was saved from disaster through the generosity of others. I had a wonderful time in Atlanta & couldn't have had requested a better sequence of spontaneous events with a crystal ball. 3.  We've reconnected in a most glorious way. 1.   Thus far, it has been my experience that one should be mindful which request you mutter into the ears of the universe. Flying Lotus x Frank Ocean

1.  Dealt with Hurricane Issac this week. It reminded me of my first hurricane experience, watching the rains fall from the living room door of a  dark muggy hot house. I would open the fridge more than need be just for 5 seconds of cool air. This was quite a windy experience, lost power for a few days just to make the experience authentic. Glad that's over with for me now, my thoughts to my city as most are still in dark, attempting to sleep in conditions most are three decades removed from. 2. 1. I am consistently under-engaged, mentally. I wrote the problem out, thereby acknowledging the problem furthering the process to discover the solution to the problem. (so I've been told) 2. No adult should fight sleep with the same fervor of a 2 yr old. I'm not as passionate as the 2 yr olds, but it gets close sometimes. 3. I will always stand by the assertion that marriage for people under 30 without children is a questionable idea. (if you have kids, it's still questionable but the questions are centered around providing for the kids, since they can't take care of themselves, ya know) Life teaches you more and more about yourself the longer you are immersed in your own company. Midnight has no interest in showing up for this performance. Low clouds masking as suspended rain hang thick on my nostrils as I turn onto Claiborne Ave, headed east from the most reliable of shot nerve conduits, South Carrollton Ave. The moon appears to be on vacation, lost somewhere behind the haze of sulfur filled bulbs and the dense row of rain crowding my mirrors. I left in search of food at 11 o'clock on a Tuesday night in a sleepy college town, in the busy bend of the Mississippi River following a typical July day. A day with little breeze, plenty of attitude and no end in sight . I watched traffic in fifteen minute intervals from the front entrance of the shop until the workday officially ended at 6pm, wondering what had become of some of who am I.  Twasn’t lost or misplaced, but the echo suggested dormancy. 1. You can't discuss tomorrow with yesterday still on your breath.  2.  Speak it to me plainly, so I know it's real. 3.  Met a friend of a friend last night and dude is really a dog man. From what he relayed and I pieced together, he's had 3 dogs consistently over the past decade, that's crazy. He's also a single man with no kids, so after working 50hrs a week, some canine company sounds like it's in order.   4.  For a myriad of reasons, I don't do well with people who were only children growing up. I've ignored prior disappointments only to be reminded why it doesn't work out well for me. Lesson learned though, I think. 5.   I suppose nostalgia or naivete... 6.
