Pour up my Foldgers
1. When did bragging about a few relative accomplishments become the cool thing to do? I recall an era, albeit relatively short, where you got things done because that's what was needed. When there was bragging done, it was your family & friends speaking of their genuine pride in your accomplishments. It appears of late to be nothing more a group of primates beating their chests outside of mating season.
2. I don't believe in Hip-Hop/Rap/?? as a religious system like a more & more of my peers do but I follow if for nothing more than the fondness that one has for their 1st love. This mixtape manipulating, feature filetin, ad lib ambassador from Toronto by the name of Drake definitely produces an enjoyable project. It appears to be accurate, often being supported by the self reporting real time overseer known as social networking. Facebook, Twitter, & blogging have introduced an eerie level of accountability into life in the 22nd century.
3. FTR: Real Sneaker Heads miss meals for their love of kicks. If you're just blowing income that could be going towards a retirement fund, charitable donations, or your parents money, you are not a sneaker head.
4. I couldn't skip out on Obama's Health care Plan. First off, it's a complicated mess that needs immediate resolution, almost akin to walking into a fubard town & needing to rebuild it all in 3 weeks but you don't speak the local dialect. These complications being acknowledged, American Health care has been a for profit system for since the inclusion of minorities in the welfare system. I'm not blaming a(any) group of people for the current state of affairs, I'm aiming to develop an accurate historical perspective to further illustrate the severity of the problem.
This semester has legs on it so you'll have to pardon the sporadic updates. Wait, they've always been sporadic.
