It is.

1. John Mayer's song "Fathers" directly reminds every man that the women in his life were at some point daughters. Daughter that need(ed) love, attention, respect , & encouragement. I'm not interested in electro-shocking the dead horse of absentee fathers, but if you have daughters, God-daughters, nieces, sisters, etc make sure that they receive all the emotional support to become complete women who are able to engage in well thought out decision making exercises with confidence.

2. At times, I take pleasure in argument for the sake of argument. Occasionally, I'll even entertain such while I'm drinking. Just to see how long I can banter before the flood of alcohol removes some blood from my brain so my liver can knock out the sugar surplus. However, such experiences are usually relegated to arguments where I retain a vested interest, a proverbial dog in the fight. (If that offends you, you're welcomed to leave) I'll go on the record & state that I do not condone "gay marriage". Yes, it's an unpopular viewpoint, no I'm not homophobic.

3. Have you ever look through your contacts, realized your were remarkable indifferent towards the notion of holding a conversation with 95% of the people listed?? Yea, I'm long overdue for a different scene.

4. You shouldn't have to tell people what you do. Instead, it should be a puzzle they begin to solve while they talk with you. Don't tell me you're a visual artist, give me discrete indicators regarding your involvement in that arena. For the love of strawberries, surprise me!

5. The older you get, the more concerned you become with how exact your clothing fits. The baggy sweats are worn on days when leaving the house is not an option.

6. Grad school then something involving my hands. Leather tanning, cobbling shoes, wood working, something that develops a certain work ethic. Yea, that sounds like the plan.

7. Here I am thinking with all that noise, something would come it. In the end, it fell short of the expectations it present upon it's arrival. In laymens terms, cubic zirconia, all flash, no value.

8. Its apparent that I've read the same photo too often in the hopes that the thousand words presented would some how re-order themselves. If the Jews could read the writing on the wall without glasses, I'm sure I can do the same with them.

9. Discussions of happiness that ignore the significance of financial stability are the ramblings of idealistic young people whose affinity for romance has completely eclipsed their ability to follow logical discourse & to engage in critical reflection.
