Lately I've been thinking...

  1. This is has been one of the more enjoyable summers of my adult life. I've done some traveling, had a few long nights, some enjoyable dates, & still performed pretty well at work.
  2. It took a flat out denial for me to remember some of my hobbies & although I wasn't happy with the messenger, I really needed the message.
  3. School starts again too soon but I'd rather not think about it too much.
  4. I need to decide what that rabbit is going to do with the rest of his childhood. If I don't move quickly, I may find myself watching In Between the Lions more often than I should.
  5. I really want this young man do well in high school in spite of his dreams of going to the NBA & being Chris Brown off the court. Guess we'll have to watch Hoop Dreams & then jump straight into these SAT prep books. No child left behind was bullshit.
  6. Why do naive young liberals want to save the children of the world while ignoring the children here in the States?? Just because the reality of poverty in America differs greatly from the reality of poverty in developing (3rd world) countries, doesn't mean that these children need to be ignored, paving the way for them to populate the constantly growing prison system & the ever hungry service industry. I guess it feels better to save someone who couldn't help themselves elsewhere versus saving those that need saving, in spite of the potential non-existent emotional reward, within driving distance.
  7. Why don't I buy shoes as much as I buy books?!? I'd be well read & fresh if I started today. Oh well, my sock game will always be light years beyond yours.
  8. Can my hair start growing as fast as the grass on the lawn?? If the grass can be dense & shin high in 4 weeks, why can't my curls??

1. I really wish I would have learned to enjoy the moment for what is a lot earlier on. I would've saved myself much confusion & disappointment. 2.
